Choose your MD8 Air Samplers
A fundamental aspect of cleanrooms and critical zones is to achieve lowest concentrations of airborne particles by reducing introduction and generation. Measurement for this purpose must be accurate, reliable and not introduce the risk of secondary contamination. The MD8 Airscan® is designed to detect the smallest viruses and microorganisms in the air by using unique Gelatine Membrane Filters (GMF) and BACTairTM agar plates. Air sampling in critical areas can be performed isokinetically with MD8 Airscan®.
Active Air Monitoring in Cleanrooms and Controlled Areas
Active monitoring of viable airborne microorganisms is important for ensuring product quality and safety. Regulatory standards require a sampling of at least 1 m3 of air. In this procedure, care must be taken that turbulence is not caused by, for example, devices such as active air samplers and that sampling is performed isokinetically. In the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, it is important to measure air quality in cleanrooms, sterility testing isolators, filing lines, quality control areas, laboratories, warehouses, personnel airlocks and aseptic transfer chambers for materials.
