Overview
Specifications
Choose your Octet® BLI Consumables
The Octet® Anti-Mouse Fc Capture (AMC) Biosensors are designed for kinetic characterization of interactions between mouse Fc-containing proteins and target analytes. Immobilization of mouse Fc-containing proteins onto the biosensor surface is achieved through a factory immobilized anti-mouse Fc-specific antibody, whose high-affinity for the mouse Fc domain provides a stable baseline required for demanding kinetics applications. It is recommended to use the AMC biosensors with IgG1, IgG2a and IgG2b subtypes; IgG3 should be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
Streamlined Workflow
The Octet® AMC Biosensors on the Octet® platform allow to streamline high-throughput kinetic screening by enabling immobilization of human Fc-containing proteins onto the biosensors directly from crude or purified matrices, without the need for labor intensive purification or biotinylation steps.
Flexible Applications
The AMC biosensors provide a flexible platform for evaluating the kinetics between mouse Fc-containing proteins and their analytes. The main applications for AMC biosensors include: Complete kinetic analysis (kon, koff and KD) between mouse Fc-containing proteins and target analytes Off-rate ranking of hybridoma and stable cell-line supernatants Epitope binning/mapping from either crude or purified samples Tracking product integrity by measuring kon, koff and KD during upstream fermentation, downstream harvest and purification, post-derivatization (pegylation) and formulation development.
Cost-Effective Regeneration
The Octet® AMC Biosensors can be regenerated up to 10 times via a standard low-pH protocol in as little as 2 minutes, thus providing a cost-effective solution for analyzing a large number of samples or generating replicate data for ligand-analyte pairs.
