NexaGel®ORGANOID (1-4) are animal origin-free hydrogels specifically designed to support the cultivation of patient-derived organoids, organoids from pluripotent stem cells (PSCs), co-cultures, and PDX models. The NexaGel®ORGANOID KIT includes four unique hydrogels, each with varying bio-functional ligands, mechanical properties, and biodegradability to cater to diverse organoid culture needs.

These hydrogels are ready for immediate use at room temperature, maintaining a neutral pH, transparency, permeability, and compatibility with various imaging systems. They form a hydrogel matrix simply by mixing with the cell culture medium. NexaGel®ORGANOID hydrogels are versatile, suitable for both 3D cell culture and 2D hydrogel coating applications.

Moreover, these hydrogels can be used alongside NexaGel®STEM (Cat# NGH02), a hydrogel system designed for 3D static suspension cultures and the expansion of human pluripotent stem cells. Stem cell spheroids cultured in NexaGel®STEM can be transferred to NexaGel®ORGANOID hydrogels for further organoid differentiation. Essential growth factors and molecules can be incorporated directly into the hydrogel matrix or applied on top.

Organoids grown in this system can be easily harvested using the NexaGel®Cell Recovery Solution. NexaGel®ORGANOID hydrogels offer a well-defined 3D microenvironment, advancing the field of personalized medicine.
