The Octet® 10mM Glycine pH 1.7 is a regeneration buffer developed for use with various Octet® BLI biosensors and a wide range of ligands and analytes. It allows for biosensor re-use and provides a cost-effective solution for analyzing a large number of samples or ligand-analyte pairs in sequence. Typically, regeneration can be performed by dipping biosensors into the regeneration buffer for a few seconds, followed by a dip in the assay buffer. These steps should be repeated 3-5 times in sequence to fully remove bound antibodies or the interaction complex. Since different modes of interaction exist between ligands on the biosensor surface and target analytes, determining the optimal regeneration conditions that disrupt these interactions is essential and should be done for each application experimentally.
