Sartocell filter modules are used for clarification and microbe-retentive filtration in the food and beverage industry. The use of modules in closed-filtration housings eliminates factors like dripping and contaminations from external sources. The sheets are manufactured from high-grade, natural raw materials such as cellulose and diatomaceous earth, and are available in various sizes. Sartocell filter modules are available with different graded retention rates in order to cover a wide filtration spectrum.
Protection
The positively charged filters improve the clarifying effect by adsorption of negatively charged particles and colloids. This ensures that downstream filters are effectively protected and also lowers overall costs of consumables.
Housings
Sartocell filter housings are especially designed for the use of Sartocell modules in the food and beverage industry. The 12" and 16" diameter housings come with a self-draining base plate design and a replaceable adapter for the use of O-ring and flat gasket adapters.
Applications
The Sartocell F&B filter sheets are especially developed for wine, water, beer, fruit juices and spirits applications.
Flexibility
Filter sheet systems can be optimally adapted to the flow rates required for each application by raising or lowering the number of sheets installed.

Sartocell F&B filter sheets are manufactured according to a DIN EN ISO 9001 certified quality management system. All materials of construction used to produce the Sartocell F&B filter sheets are selected in compliance with the EU and US requirements for products intended to come in contact with foodstuff:
- Meet the requirements for Food Contact Materials in Europe as detailed in Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004 and Regulation (EU) No 10/2011
