Available in Two Types
Glass vacuum filter holders are available in two types which differ only in the filter support. This support contains either a glass frit or a PTFE-coated stainless-steel screen and an underdrain screen. The filter supports may only be changed as a unit. Because of the particularly even distribution of particulates of the membrane filter surface, filter supports with glass frits are preferred for use in particulate analysis. Filter supports with a PTFE-coated screen are mainly used for clarifying or sterile filtration of liter volumes

Polyethersulfone membrane filters are hydrophilic- have high flow rates- a low non-specific protein adsorption and are chemically resistant over a pH range of 1 – 14.
Polyethersulfone membrane filters are hydrophilic- have high flow rates- a low non-specific protein adsorption and are chemically resistant over a pH range of 1 – 14.
The hydrophobic PTFE membrane filters are made of polytetra-fluorethylene (PTFE) only and are therefore permanently hydrophobic. Unlike hydrophilic filter types, they are not wetted by air humidity.
Top Features of - Cellulose Acetate Membrane Filters
- High flow rates and thermal stability
- Excellently suited for pressure filtration devices
- Compatible with aqueous solutions, oils, alcohols and other organic solvents
Popular Applications for Cellulose Acetate Membrane Filters
- Filtration of aqueous solutions
- Solvent filtration mixtures
- Clarification

These hydrophilic polycarbonate track-etched filters are manufactured from high quality polycarbonate film using track-etch technology. They have a sharply defined pore size of 0.4 µm with a pore density of 1.50E+08 cm2. Pack of 100 white 25 mm discs that have a high chemical resistance and good thermal stability for accurate fractionation of particulates. Smooth, flat surface for good visibility.
