The Lysis Reactor is a single-use component to use in combination with the In-line Lysis System’s Tower. Together, they form a fully automated in-line lysis system with a closed single-use loop for process development (PD) up to pilot scale. The Lysis Reactor is a single-use component with simple installation, requires little countertop space and provides a clean and simple alternative to larger batch lysis processes, allowing users to use it as a plug-and-play combination. It consists of the main reactor body with a fixed volume of 1000 mL, 5 inlet paths (4 solutions and one air) and an outlet path.
Operating Flow Rate: 40 -500 mL/min
Volume: 1000 mL
Compatible with:
- In-line Lysis Tower 1000
- In-line Lysis Tower 1000 cGMP
- In-line Lysis Tower 5000
- In-line Lysis Tower 5000 cGMP
Key Benefits:
- Single use.
- cGMP compliant.
- Easy inslatllation.
- Small surface area requirements.
- No need for chilled reagents.
- 1000 mL reactor body can process up to 100 L of resuspended cells in under 8h.
- Reliable precise control of lysis time.
- Efficient neutralisation and impurities precipitation (RNA, gDNA) by patented flow mixer.
- can be gamma irradiated.
